Dr Kavoosi cultural and sports complex (2-sided plateau hall) became operational, in Ardakan, in memory of dr Kavoosi, with a capacity of 316 audience. After the opening ceremony, Dr Parviz Ziafat expressed his joy for the good deed of the family of Dr Kavoosi and his wife by donating the land, and said, “I hope this good deed will bring satisfaction for our fellow citizens, and they will be able to take a step in promoting Ardakan’s culture.”
He added: “one of the wishes of my father-in-law was to be able to be of service; I am delighted that this has come out to be what he wished and also a constructive work has been achieved.”
He continued: “I hope his soul is happy and this place will be used to its best. It is quite strange to me because this land was donated a long time ago. But, when I came to Ardakan at least once a year, I didn’t see any construction work going on it.”
Then, one day my wife said that they had called to invite us to the opening ceremony of dr Kavoosi cultural complex; I was shocked by this news, and when I came to Ardakan, I saw the great work done on this land, and this is much appreciated.
I am from Ardakan, and so I will also benefit from the work done in this city” and added that Yazd and Ardakan have always been exemplary cities.
Dr. Ziafat said: “One of my honors is that I am from Ardakani; I love this place and its people very much.”
The cultural and sports complex of Dr. Kavoosi, with an area of 1400 square meters donated by the revered Dr Kavoosi, was put into operation by Ardakan municipality, with a cost of 2 billion tomans.
