Every year, the Zoroastrians of Kerman gather in the fire temple of Dowlatkhaneh to prepare for the Gahanbar ceremony of Maidyarem. This Gahanbar, known as Shah Abbasi, is held every year on the 11th of Dey, on the day of Soroush Izad, in the Fire Temple of Dowlatkhaneh neighborhood in Kerman, and Zoroastrians gather together to benefit from Gahanbar and on the 9th and 10th of January Zoroastrians come to the fire temple to assist in preparing the food for the Gahanbar.
