The first meeting of the Architecture, Restoration, and Tourism Commission of the Kerman Zoroastrian Association was held.
This meeting was held on Sunday, Azar 13, 1401 (December 3, 2022) at 18:00. Sirous Nikbakhsh, president of Kerman Zoroastrian Association commenced the meeting by welcoming members of the above-mentioned commission and added that this commission has been most effective in the structure of the Association and expressed all-round support of the Association towards this commission. Eng. Dadfar Rostami was introduced as representative in this commission. The efforts of Eng. Arya Kaviani was commended. After introducing the structure and role of this commission Dadfar Rostami gave suggestions for filming and preparing a map of the historic and religious buildings in Kerman for documentation and additional studies and providing a roadmap for the future design of these buildings. Eng. Farzad Nikdin and Dr. Siavash Rashidi presented solutions for restoring and prioritizing Zoroastrian places. Dr. Arshin Bakhtiari spoke about tourism and its importance in our society.
Mandana Peyman, a member of the Board of Directors of the Zoroastrian Association of Kerman, also spoke about the attention paid to the Zoroastrian tower of silence from the point of view of tourism. Engineer Anahita Kaviani, Eng. Sepehr Sirousi and Eng. Hormozd Keimanesh invited young Zoroastrians who are interested in this field, for cooperation, considering the wide scope of this project. In conclusion, Dadfar Rostami, as requested by the audience, confirmed that restoration of the fire temple and Bodaghabad garden would be in priority, and then named Siavash Rashidi and Hormozd Keymanesh for taking the responsibility of preparing the map of the structure and doing some study on the Shahverahramizad shrine. Anahita Kaviani and Arya Kaviani were given the responsibility of filming and preparing maps of the fire temple buildings and doing respective study. The other participants of this meeting were Mitra Khosravi, Mehshad Homai, Mandana Ghstasbi, Maniya Zahaniya, Kioumars Izadiyar, and Omid Azari. The second meeting of this commission will be held in the next two weeks on December 27, Sunday, at 18:00. Those interested are invited to the next meeting.
