The 22nd anniversary of the death of Ravanshad Arbab Fereydoon Zartoshti, was celebrated by the Zoroastrian House of Culture and Art in Tehran.
Afarinegan reciting ceremony for the 22nd anniversary of the passing away of Ravanshad Arbab Fereydoon Zartoshti was held at the end of Ordibehesht Amshaspand and Azar of the Zoroastrian calendar, corresponding to Friday, Aban 27, 1401, in Mehraban Conference Hall, Zoroastrian Culture and Art House, Tehran. Mobed Hormoz Khosraviani recited the prayers. Representatives of Iranian Zoroastrians, members of the Zoroastrian Association of Tehran, and members of the Zoroastrian House of Culture and Art of Tehran were among the participants in this ceremony.
Arbab Fereydoon Zartoshti is one of the great benefactors of the Zoroastrian community. He offered his home to expand Zoroastrian culture and art, and the Tehran Zoroastrian Culture and Art House were established here.
Arbab Fereydoon Zartoshti and his brother Arbab Mehraban Zartoshti have done many good deeds inside and outside the country’s borders with their fearlessness in the direction of the growth and development of Zoroastrians. Arbab Fereydoun Zartoshti passed away in America on Aban 27, 1379. Yet, due to his love for his homeland, his body was buried in Iran, in Ghasr Firoozeh, Tehran.
