On the eve of the new academic year and the reopening of religious teachers and educational staff gathered in the Marker campus in Yazd.
This gathering discussed the planning of religious classes in the academic year 1402-1401, and the educational process and the conditions for holding classes in person were discussed and investigated. The teachers of each level were introduced. Mobed Mehraban Afarin is the educational manager and Mavandad Afarin is deputy manager for education. It was announced that religious classes would be reopened in person from 15:15 on the 7th of October. It was also suggested that Avesta replaces Quran in the weekly program and a Ministry of Education code is given so that it does not affect students’ GPA. This meeting was held with the coordination of the Zoroastrian religious commission of Yazd province and the presence of Esfandiar Ekhtiari, representative of Iranian Zoroastrians in the parliament, on Friday 18th of Shahrivar 1401. Mahbanoo Afarin recited the Gathas in the opening of the meeting.
