Sports games were held together with the Panji ceremonies in the village of Mazrae Kalantar. Volleyball, junior’s football, athletics, and walking in water, were contests held in this year’s Panji games, on Friday Tir 24. Also, an early morning group walk outside the village, followed by a lottery for the participants was arranged.
Athletic competitions were held in three categories: kids, teenagers and adult women and men. Winners were announced as follows:
Kid’s category: First place: Anahita Samia. Joint second place: Pardis Behmardi and Parham Behmardi, third place: Farshid Samia
Junior category: First place: Varahram Kaviani, Second place: Radmehr Rostami, Third place: Mehran Abyari
Men’s adult category: First place: Aria Izadi, Second place: Farshid Manouchehri, Third place: Mehran Abyari
Women’s adult category: First place: Hamta Rostami, Second place: Niloufar Khademi, Third place: Violet Rashidi
