Zoroastrian Fire Temple stood second among Nowruz tourism places in Yazd

With nearly 85,000 visitors in Nowruz 1401, the Zoroastrian fire temple became the second Nowruz tourism site in Yazd.

According to the Public Relations Department of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Yazd Province, more than 366,000 people visited the landmark historic sites and museum of Yazd province in Nowruz 1401 holidays.

Ahmad Akhoundi, director-general of cultural heritage in Yazd province, said: “The most visits in the whole province were related to Dolatabad Garden, which was visited by 88,000 tourists, and the Yazd Fire Temple, with about 85,000 visitors, took the second place.”Iskandar Prison became the third most visited building in Yazd province with 47,000 visitors during the Nowruz holidays.”

About the most visited museum, he said: “During Nowruz holidays, the Museum of Classic and Handmade Cars as one of the province in Yazd had 22,000 tourists and visitors, Bafgh stone and mine museum had 19,000 visitors and Pahlavanpour Garden Anthropology Museum had 11,000 tourists.”
