Ariana Esfandiarian, an eighth grade student, won the third title in medicinal plants, packaging section, in the second round of the scientific/research festival of the country’s student research institutes, in Shiraz.
In this festival, in addition to the third national title in the field of medicinal plants in the packaging section, the Zoroastrian teenager stood first in the new energies section, first in scientific promotion of stem cells, and second in new powers of green handmade structures, at district level.
Students from Fars Province won first place in the second round of the scientific/research festival of the country’s student research institutes by gaining 85 national ranks. There are 684 research institutes in the country, of which 60 research institutes are active in Fars province. In this year’s festival, 1,122,000 students from all over the country competed in eleven disciplines. More than 160,000 students participated in the festival from the fourth to twelfth grade in Fars province. Finally, 6649 students passed the regional and provincial levels, and 612 were introduced at the national level. This shows the importance of the title won by Ariana Esfandiarian.
