Cuneiform inscriptions were found in a farm in Ramhormoz city of Khuzestan. After initial studies and confirmation of authenticity, the longevity of the description is speculated to be the Elamite period.
According to a report given by commander of the preservation unit of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage of Khuzistan province, and during some agricultural work on a private farm, with a know identity, a cuneiform inscription was discovered and reported to the Ramhormoz County Protection Unit. Due to the sensitivity of the news, the issue was set on the agenda of the Protection Unit.”
The commander of the protection unit of the Ministry of Heritage, Culture, and Tourism and Handicrafts added: “The inscription was handed over to a trusted person for expert work, and following the technical expertise of the experts of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of the province, the authenticity of the inscription was confirmed and its date to the Elamite period was estimated.”
