Completion of Reconstruction and Renovation of Yeganegi Clinic

Reconstruction of Yeganegi Charity Clinic was completed and the goal to improve the quality level of therapeutic activities was achieved.

Reconstruction was carried out according to supervisory guidelines of the experts of Ministry of Health and Medical Education, and by observing the physical conditions, the facilities and equipment, the shortcomings were resolved. Mehrdokht shahriari, head of the service commission of Tehran Zoroastrian Association, announced completion of the reconstruction of Yeganegi Clinic and explained the process: “Reconstruction of Yeganegi clinic has been funded by Ministry of Health.  The waiting room walls and the dental offices have been covered with ceramics, and the flooring has been replaced. The suspended ceilings were replaced, and Knauf ceilings were installed. Ceiling lights were replaced, the wiring was repaired, the worn out sections of the plumbing system was repaired, the valves were replaced, the washroom was repaired, the bathroom renovated, the floor and ceramic walls of the bathroom were replaced, and the toilet was installed. The closets of the staff locker room, the dental office, and the secretary room were replaced and renovated.” according to Ministry of Health instructions a fire alarm system and also an air conditioner were installed. To maintain proper sanitation and hygiene, the staff locker room was exchanged with the kitchen and since the kitchen arrangements had changed the necessary pipework for water and gas were done in the new location. The upper floor sewer fracture was fixed.

Referring to the preparation of the computer system to produce electronic prescriptions in this health center, head of the service commission added: “This reconstruction has been done for the well-being of outpatients referring to Yeganegi Clinic and also to have a treatment space according to regulations and standards.  The clinic is ready to reopen and accept patients. The charity clinic offers outpatients medical and dental services, injections, dressing, serum therapy, optometry, minor surgeries, and ECGs.

It is worth mentioning that following the meeting of Dr. Esfandiar Ekhtiari, the representative of Zoroastrian Iranians, with the then Minister of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education, a special budget was allocated by this ministry for spending in the Yeganegi clinic. The reconstruction of Yeganegi Clinic began with the approval of the Board of Directors of the 44th Zoroastrian Association of Tehran in Farvardin 1400.
